Cruise Plan
Start at the end of the world
After Araon’s launch, in 2010 and 2011, Araon’s official maiden voyage was of Antarctica. In 2012, the time taken for repair and a sea trial decreased by 30 days, while the number of days out on the sea has continued to increase since its launch.
Annual operation plan
10월부터 4월 말까지는 남극장보고과학기지 물자 보급 및 남극 연구 항해, 5부터 7월까지는 국내정박(정기상가, 유지 보수 등), 7월 말부터 9월까지 북극 연구 항해, 9월부터 10월까지 국내정박(남극 항해 준비)으로 연간 운영된다.
